The Institute for Organizational Leadership is an educational consulting group specializing in strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and information management. IOL and its consultants collaborate with business, government, education, and service groups to help improve organizational performance.

Dr. David Pinkard is a Senior Consultant with the Institute for Organizational Leadership, specializing in non-profit organizations, community groups and Christian ministries.

David has worked with and is on advisory boards for organizations such as Bradley Initiative for Church and Community and the Salvation Army Cleveland, TN Corps. Dr. Pinkard holds a B.S. degree from Lee University, and an M.Div. and D. Min. degrees from the Church of God Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was the recipient of the 2009 Community Service Award from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

He has more than fifteen years of experience in Christian ministry where he served local churches as a senior pastor, administrative pastor, youth pastor, ministry coordinator, and law enforcement chaplain. During his years of service in the local church, David coordinated with community and global groups to touch the lives of those in need.  Some of these groups included the Good Samaritan Medical Clinic, People for Care and Learning, Men and Women of Action, Lee University, Caring Place, Habitat for Humanity, and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana.

David’s focus at the Institute for Organizational Leadership is to assist non-profit organizations, Christian churches and community groups address the challenge of today and tomorrow through effective planning, organization and administration.
